Rear Spring: Removal

  1. Turn the air suspension service switch off, if so equipped. See Fig 1 .

  2. Raise the vehicle and install safety stands.
  3. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
  4. Use the Hi-Lift Jack to support the rear axle. See Figure .
  5. Separate the rear spring from the rear axle. See Figure . Remove the four nuts. Remove the two U-bolts. Position the rear spring plate aside.
  6. Remove the front bolt and nut. Remove the rear bolt and nut. Remove the rear spring. See Figure .
