Test E: Warning Indicator Off With Ignition On

Disconnect generator 3-pin harness connector. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Using a fused (15-amp) jumper wire, ground generator harness connector terminal "I". See Figure. Turn ignition switch to RUN position and observe warning indicator. If warning indicator illuminates, replace generator. See GENERATOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
