Driver Seat Control Switch

WARNING: If a power seat is equipped with side air bag and/or seat belt pretensioner, air bag system must be deactivated before any diagnostics are performed. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Air Bag Simulators (418-F088) MUST be connected under seats to side air bag connectors (2 required). Air bag simulators MUST be removed prior to driving vehicle.

Deactivate air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Remove driver seat control switch. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Disconnect driver's seat control switch Black 8-pin harness connector C360. Check for continuity between driver seat control switch terminals (component side) with switch in specified position. See DRIVER SEAT CONTROL SWITCH RESISTANCE  table. See Figure . If continuity does not exist, replace driver seat control switch. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  .
