Test D: Speed Control Does Not Disengage With Clutch Applied

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch 5-pin harness connector C2070. Measure resistance between CPP switch terminals No. 1 and 2 (component side). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, replace CPP switch.
  2. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect speed control actuator 10-pin harness connector C122. Measure resistance of Light Blue/Yellow wire between speed control actuator harness connector C122 terminal No. 2 and CPP switch harness connector C2070 terminal No. 4. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open or high resistance in Light Blue/Yellow wire.
  3. Measure resistance between ground and CPP switch harness connector C2070 terminal No. 2 (Orange wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace speed control actuator. See SPEED CONTROL ACTUATOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open or high resistance in Orange wire between CPP and PCM.
