Test I: Flash Code 4 - Clutch/Neutral Switch Circuit Failure

  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch 5-pin harness connector C2070. Measure resistance between CPP switch terminals No. 2 and 4 (component side). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, replace CPP switch.
  2. Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position. Disconnect speed control actuator 10-pin harness connector C122. Measure resistance between ground and speed control actuator harness connector C122 terminal No. 2 (Light Blue/Yellow wire). If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, replace speed control actuator. See SPEED CONTROL ACTUATOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Light Blue/Yellow wire between speed control actuator and CPP.
