Selector Lever Cable Adjustment: Adjustment

  1. Shift selector lever in position "D".

  2. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & HOISTING .
  3. NOTE: Make sure the selector lever cable outer sleeve is free for moving after unlocking.

  4. Open the selector lever cable locking mechanism (turn counterclockwise).
  5. NOTE: The TR sensor mark must be inline with the transaxle selector lever.

  6. Move the transaxle selector lever to position "D" (TR sensor removed shown).
  7. Close the selector lever cable outer sleeve by turning the locking mechanism clockwise.

  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Check the selector lever cable adjustment.
