Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the cowl top vent panel grille assembly. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  3. Remove the bolts and the lower cowl top vent panel assembly.

  4. Remove the RH engine mount nut.

  5. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  6. Remove the RH nut.

  7. Remove the LH engine mount nut.

  8. Remove the LH front wheel. For additional information, refer to WHEELS & TIRES .
  9. Remove the LH engine mount nuts.

  10. Remove the LH engine mount bolts.

  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Using the special tool, raise the engine 50.8 mm (2 inches).

  13. Raise the vehicle.
  14. If necessary, remove the LH bolts and the motor mount.

  15. If necessary, remove the RH motor mount.
  16. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
