Valve Springs: Installation

- Install the valve springs.
- Insert the valve springs and valve spring retainer.
- Compress the valve springs.
- Fit the valve collets.
- Detach special tool 303-363 and insert the spark plug.
- Repeat the operations for all the other cylinders.
- Coat the valve tappet with engine oil and insert it.
- Remove the camshafts. For additional information, refer to CAMSHAFTS .
NOTE:
Check that the valve collets are correctly seated.
NOTE:
Do not tighten yet.
