Test B: Charge Warning Indicator Malfunction

Start engine and measure voltage of Yellow/White wire at generator terminal B+ (component side). If voltage is less than 13 volts or more than 15 volts, go to TEST A: CHARGING SYSTEM MALFUNCTION  . If voltage is 13-15 volts, diagnose warning indicator. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
