Micro-ISO Relays
- Remove relay to be tested. Wiper on/off intermittent relay is located in battery junction box. Washer pump relay is located in relay box. Measure resistance between relay terminal No. 2 and all other terminals. See Fig 1. If any resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace relay. If all resistances are more than 5 ohms, go to next step.
- Attach jumper wire between battery positive and relay terminal No. 3. Measure voltage between relay terminal No. 4 and ground. If battery voltage does not exist, replace relay. If battery voltage exists, go to next step.
- Attach second jumper wire from battery positive to relay terminal No. 1. Attach third jumper wire between relay terminal No. 2 and ground. Measure voltage between relay terminal No. 5 and ground. If battery voltage does not exist, replace relay. If battery voltage exists, relay is okay.
