The RAP module, when initiated by remote transmitter, performs the following functions:

To unlock all doors and liftgate, press UNLOCK button twice within 5 seconds. To lock all doors, press LOCK button once. This also arms anti-theft system. To confirm all doors are locked, press LOCK button again. Horn will sound, exterior lights will flash and doors will lock again. To activate security alarm, press PANIC button. Horn will sound and exterior lights will flash for a maximum of 2 minutes 45 seconds. To deactivate security alarm, press PANIC button again or turn ignition switch to ACC or RUN position.

Keypad and all illuminated components will illuminate with first button pressed. Illuminated entry can be programmed to turn on/off with keypad use. See KEYPAD  under PROGRAMMING. The system receiver assembly is programmed at the factory with a permanent entry code, which can be obtained from customer wallet card or can be accessed using scan tool under RAP KEYCODE PID menu.

Autolock is a feature that will lock all doors when all vehicle doors, liftgate window and liftgate are fully closed, ignition key is in RUN position, driver shifts into or passed through "R" (reverse), and brake pedal is released. If any door is opened and then closed, autolock will repeat. Autolock can be enabled/disabled as preferred.
