Manufacturer's sequence for diagnosing and repairing power door lock system is as follows:

• Verify customer's complaint.
• Perform visual inspection.
• Perform INITIAL CHECKS  .
• If problem remains after performing visual inspection and initial checks, determine symptom(s) and perform appropriate test for symptoms present. See SYMPTOM INDEX  table under SYSTEM TESTS  .
