Driver Door Unlock Relay

  1. Remove driver door unlock relay from auxiliary relay block No. 2, located above left rear wheelwell. Check continuity between relay terminals. Continuity should exist between relay terminals No. 1 and 2 and between terminals No. 3 and 4. See Figure. Continuity should not exists between terminals No. 3 and 5. If continuity is as specified, go to next step. If continuity is not as specified, replace driver door unlock relay.
  2. Apply battery voltage across relay terminals No. 1 and 2. Continuity should now exist between relay terminals No. 3 and 5. If continuity is as specified, driver door unlock relay is okay at this time. If continuity is not as specified, replace appropriate relay.
