Draining & Refilling: 4F27E

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Place drain pan under transaxle. Remove oil pan bolts. Separate bead of sealer to remove pan. Remove filter.
  2. Clean sealer from oil pan and case. Install NEW filter. Apply bead of sealer (Loctite 5699) 1.5 mm thick to oil pan. Install oil pan and tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill transaxle with appropriate fluid. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDS . Start engine and shift transaxle through all gear ranges. Check fluid level. See CHECKING FLUID LEVELS . Add fluid as necessary.
