Test C: Warning Indicator Is On With Engine Running, System Charges

Disconnect generator 3-pin connector. With ignition switch in RUN position, observe warning indicator. If warning indicator is illuminated, repair short to ground in Light Green/Red wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Retest system operation. If warning indicator is not illuminated, replace generator. See GENERATOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retest system operation.
