Upper Control Arm Assembly: Installation

Position upper control arm assembly to frame bracket. Install 2 attaching bolts and washers. DO NOT tighten front suspension upper arm nuts and bolts until vehicle's suspension is at curb height. Connect upper ball joint stud to spindle. Install pinch bolt and nut. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check and adjust front end alignment as necessary. See appropriate SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
