Test D: Passenger's Seat Forward/Rearward Function Does Not Work Properly
- Disconnect passenger's seat motor harness connector C326. Measure voltage at appropriate terminal at passenger's seat motor harness connector C326 while operating passenger's power seat switch in appropriate direction. See PASSENGER'S SEAT MOTOR VOLTAGE SUPPLY
table. See Figure
. If battery voltage exists at all terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist at all terminals, go to step 3

Terminal No. (Wire Color) Switch Position 1 (Red/White) Forward 2 (Yellow/Light Green) Rear Down 3 (Red/Light Green) Rear Up 4 (Yellow/White) Rearward 5 (Red/Light Blue) Front Up 6 (Yellow/Light Blue) Front Down - Measure resistance between ground and all terminals at passenger's seat motor harness connector C326. If all resistance readings are 5 ohms or less, replace seat track assembly. If any resistance reading is greater than 5 ohms, replace seat control switch.
- Disconnect passenger's seat control switch harness connector C616. Measure resistance between ground and all terminals at passenger's seat motor harness connector C326. If all resistance readings are greater than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If any resistance reading is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in appropriate wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Measure resistance in all wires between passenger's seat control switch harness connector C616 and passenger's seat motor harness connector C326. See PASSENGER'S SEAT CIRCUIT RESISTANCE
table. See Figure
and Figure
. If all resistance readings are 5 ohms or less, replace seat control switch. If any resistance reading is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in appropriate wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS
