Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Test

Turn off air suspension switch (if equipped). Raise and support drive wheels. Code 34 will appear indicating system has asked if SUPER STAR II tester operator would like to perform vehicle speed sensor test. To command system to perform vehicle speed sensor test, unlatch HOLD/TEST button for at least one second and relatching button within 8 seconds. Once test is entered steering wheel must remain stationary. EVO control module will wait 30 seconds for technician to accelerate vehicle to at least 16 MPH. If vehicle speed of at least 16 MPH is not detected within this 30 seconds, Code 35 will appear. If vehicle speed sensor is operating properly, Code 26 will appear indicating test passed. If Code 35 appears, go to TEST G  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
