Description & Operation: Notes
Heater system is a blended air design, receiving outside air through a pollen filter in the air inlet duct connected to upper cowl. Air is directed through and/or around heater core, mixed, and discharged through outlets to floor, instrument panel and/or defroster nozzles.
The blower motor pulls air from inlet duct and forces it into heater where it is mixed and distributed. Blower motor has 4 speeds and is controlled by blower motor switch and blower motor resistor assembly.
Heater system uses vacuum actuator and electronic blend door motor to control temperature, airflow and air source (recirculated or fresh). Control switches are located in center instrument panel.
