Instrument Panel: Installation

CAUTION:
Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.
NOTE:
Verify that the four-way locator on the LH side is correctly seated.
- Position the instrument panel on the LH dash locators.
- Install the LH instrument panel bolts.
- Install the RH instrument panel bolts.
- Engage the antenna cable locators into the instrument panel and connect it to the radio.
- Connect the RH instrument panel cowl side wiring electrical connectors.
- Connect the ECS module electrical connector.
- Connect the connector.
- Install the locking clip.
- Install the RH A-pillar lower trim panel.
- From inside the engine compartment, install the main wiring assembly/lower bulkhead connector.
- Position the bulkhead connector.
- Secure the clips.
- Tighten the bolt.
- Install the coolant reservoir.
- Position the reservoir.
- Install the bolts.
- Install the instrument panel dash brace.
- Position the instrument panel dash brace.
- Install the six bolts.
- Install the instrument panel cowl top nut.
- Install the LH upper access panel.
- Connect the climate control vacuum harness connector.
- Install the upper center instrument panel access panel.
- Install the instrument panel cowl top screws.
- Install the engine cover.
- Position the engine cover in the vehicle and fasten the cover latches.
- Install the floor console. For additional information, refer to FLOOR CONSOLE .
- Install the steering column, For additional information, refer to STEERING COLUMN .
- Install the passenger side air bag modules. Refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .
