Inspection And Verification

- Verify the customer concern by operating the transaxle external control.
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage, incorrect component installation, and component misalignment. Verify that all circuit-related systems are functioning correctly. Refer to the following chart.VISUAL INSPECTION CHART
Mechanical Electrical - Damaged shift lock actuator
- Damaged transmission control switch (TCS)
- Damaged brake pedal position (BPP) switch
- Damaged shift cable and bracket
- Damaged steering column
- Damaged instrument cluster
- Failed fuse(s)
- Damaged wiring harness
- Loose or corroded connections
