Front Seat: Installation

- Position the seat into the vehicle.
- Connect the safety belt pretensioner electrical connector.
- Route the center safety belt buckle through the locating strap on the side of the seat.
- Install the front bolts.
- Move seat to foremost position.
- Install the rear bolts.
- Using the special tool 501-010, install the safety belt buckle bolt.
- Slide the safety belt buckle bolt covers on the safety belt and position in place.
- Install the front bolts.
- Position the seat to its forward most position.
- Install the rear bolts.
- Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
