Front Seat: Installation

ALL SEATS

Position the seat into the vehicle.
Connect the safety belt pretensioner electrical connector.

60 PERCENT SEAT

NOTE: SuperCab and Regular Cab safety belts route differently, make sure of correct routing.

Route the center safety belt buckle through the locating strap on the side of the seat.
Install the front bolts.

Move seat to foremost position.
Install the rear bolts.

Using the special tool 501-010, install the safety belt buckle bolt.

Slide the safety belt buckle bolt covers on the safety belt and position in place.

40 PERCENT SEAT

Install the front bolts.

Position the seat to its forward most position.
Install the rear bolts.

ALL SEATS

Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
