Section 26 (Steering Column Switches): Description

Multifunction switch, located on steering column, includes flash-to-pass and front windshield wiper/washer switches. Ignition switch and lock cylinder are also mounted on steering column. Horn switch is integrated into air bag module. Horn system includes clockspring, horn, central security module, horn switch and steering wheel control harness. Steering column switch circuits are protected by battery junction box maxi-fuses No. 102 (50-amp), No. 103 (50-amp), No. 111 (40-amp) and No. 113 (40-amp). See Fig 1.
