Speed Control Switches: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait 2 minutes. Remove air bag nuts and washers from steering wheel. Disconnect air bag harness connectors from air bag sliding contact located between top of steering column and steering wheel.
    2. WARNING: Place air bag module on bench with trim cover facing upward.
  2. Remove air bag module. Disconnect horn/speed control harness connector from air bag sliding contact. Remove speed control switches. Disconnect switch wires.
