Removal and Installation

Remove the stabilizer bar. For additional information, refer to STABILIZER BAR .

CAUTION: The axle must be supported throughout the procedure to prevent strain on the front brake hose. If the disc brake caliper must be removed for additional clearance, refer to DISC & DRUM article for additional information.

Use a suitable jack to support the affected front axle.
Remove the nut and disconnect the shock absorber.

Remove the bolt and the upper spring retainer.

Lower the jack supporting the front axle and remove the front coil spring.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
