Section 113 (Heater Systems - F150): Description

WARNING: Vehicle is equipped with Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system. When servicing vehicle, use care to avoid accidental air bag deployment. SIR system-related components are located in various locations throughout interior and exterior of vehicle, depending on application. Do not use electrical test equipment on or near these circuits. Heater system is a blend-air type, consisting of a control panel, blower motor and plenum assembly. Blower motor, located under instrument panel, pulls air from air inlet and forces it into plenum assembly where it is mixed and delivered. Plenum assembly contains blower motor, heater core, floor/defrost door, panel/defrost door and electric motor actuated temperature blend door. See VACUUM DIAGRAMS .
