Theft Indicator Light

Indicator light located in the instrument panel digital clock is used to determine system operation status. Upon vehicle start, light will illuminate for about 3 seconds to indicate system is operating correctly. If light flashes rapidly for about one minute and then repeatedly at an irregular interval, system did not recognize key code. Remove and reinsert key. If light comes on continuously for about one minute, then flashes PATS Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), a system malfunction is indicated.
