Rear Window Defogger Switch

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove rear window defogger switch. See REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. With switch in OFF position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 4 and 8 and between terminals No. 4 and 6. Continuity should not exist between terminals No. 1 and 2. With switch in ON position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 2. If continuity is as specified, switch is okay at this time. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
