Symptom Checks

Perform the following:

• Check if Accelerator Pedal (AP) sensor is mounted correctly. AP sensor is located above accelerator pedal.
• Check Idle Validation Switch (IVS). See TEST FE in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - DIESEL article.
• Ensure floor mats do not interfere with accelerator pedal.
• Ensure accelerator pedal is not damaged.
