Test C: One-Touch Down Feature Inoperative (Coupe)

  1. Turn ignition off. Using a voltmeter, check voltage between ground and backprobe one-touch down control unit (located behind left side of instrument panel) 5-pin connector C205 terminal No. 3 (Black/White wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair Black/White wire and retest system operation.
  2. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between ground and backprobe one-touch down control unit 5-pin connector C205 terminal No. 5 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Black wire between one-touch down control unit 5-pin connector and ground. Retest system operation.
  3. Disconnect 15-pin driver's door master window switch connector C509. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance in Red/Black wire between driver's door master window switch connector C509 terminal No. 13 and backprobe one-touch down control unit connector C205 terminal No. 4. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace one-touch down control unit and retest system operation. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Red/Black wire and retest system operation.
