Description & Operation

The door lock control system is a full 2-door or 4-door remote system. Remote entry feature will not function when ignition switch is in ACC or ON position.

Full 2-door or 4-door system is controlled through the Remote Anti-theft Personality (RAP) module by driver's and passenger's front power door lock switches or signals sent from remote transmitter. System will lock and unlock all doors and release trunk latch (sedan), or lock and unlock liftgate (ZX2 coupe and wagon).

System components may consist of driver's and passenger's front power door lock switches, door latch actuators, power door lock relay, antenna, RAP module, trunk release solenoid, liftgate latch actuator and a remote transmitter.
