Diagnosis & Testing: Notes
NOTE:
To identify circuits referenced in testing, see WIRING DIAGRAMS . Testing of system requires the use of a New Generation Star (NGS) tester (or equivalent), diagnostic EEC-IV 60-pin breakout box (or equivalent) and an ABS adapter cable. Some tests may require the use of DVOM with a "minimum resistance hold" feature.
CAUTION:
Whenever connecting or disconnecting components, ensure ignition switch is in OFF position, unless stated otherwise in testing.
