Memory Set Switch

Remove memory set switch and disconnect harness connector. Measure resistance between appropriate memory switch terminals with switch in each position. See MEMORY SET SWITCH RESISTANCE  table. See Fig 1 . If resistance is not as specified, replace memory switch.

MEMORY SET SWITCH RESISTANCE

Switch Position Terminals No. Ohms
Neutral (1) 1 & 8 Greater Than 10,000
SET 1 & 6 Less Than 5
MEM 1 6 & 3 Less Than 5
MEM 2 6 & 4 Less Than 5
(1) Between terminals No. 8 and 9, resistance should be infinite. When ohmmeter leads are reversed, resistance should be low.
