Removal & Installation: Damper: Removal

Remove the nut retaining the damper to the bracket on the steering linkage. See Fig 1.

NOTE: The right hand damper bracket and the steering linkage bracket can be removed from the vehicle, if necessary, by removing the retaining bolts and nuts.

Remove the nut and bolt retaining the damper to the right hand damper bracket. See Fig 2.
Remove the damper from the mounting brackets. See Fig 3.
