Right Front Passenger Door Window Switch

  1. With switch removed from vehicle, test with a self-powered test light or ohmmeter. With switch in NEUTRAL position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 8 and 9. See Fig 1 . Continuity should also exist between terminals No. 11 and 12, and also between terminals No. 13 and 14. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified. If continuity is as specified, go to next step.
  2. With switch in UP position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 8 and 10, and also between terminals No. 11 and 12. With switch in DOWN position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 10 and 12, and also between terminals No. 8 and 9. If continuity is not as specified, replace right front passenger door window switch and retest system operation.
