Electric Cooling Fan - EEC-V: Testing: Notes

NOTE: Retrieval of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) on EEC-V equipped vehicles is accomplished using New Generation Star (NGS) Scan Tool (007-00500) or a generic scan tool. To retrieve and clear DTCs, follow scan tool manufacturer's instructions. Breakout Box (014-000950) connected to Powertrain Control Module wiring harness connector is necessary to perform the following tests. References to test pin No. found in the following test steps refers to test terminals on manufacturer's breakout box.
