Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

When PCM senses ground through mode selector switch, it provides ground to coil circuit of A/C relay. Contacts in A/C relay close, energizing A/C clutch. PCM does not allow A/C clutch operation during conditions such as engine starting, high engine speed, heavy acceleration, high engine coolant temperature, and low engine idle.
