WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article. DO NOT
apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
The remote keyless entry system has 4 main components: a Driver's Door Module (DDM) located within the driver's door, a keypad located on the driver's door, an antenna located in the wiring harness near the DDM, and a remote transmitter. The DDM may also be referred to as a Left Front Door Module (LFDM). See Fig 1 .
