Control Switch Test

  1. Unplug connector from switch. Ground pin No. 4. Connect jumper wire between pins No. 2 and 3 of switch connector. See Fig 1 .
  2. Connect battery voltage to pin No. 2. Indicator light should remain off. Momentarily press switch button. Indicator light should come on and stay on after button is released.
  3. Indicator light should go off only if switch is set to OFF position, jumper wire between pins No. 2 and 3 is removed, or about 10 minutes have elapsed. Replace switch if test results are not as specified.
