Heated Back Window Indicator Never/Always On
- Bulb Check - Turn ignition off. Remove heated back window indicator bulb from instrument cluster. Ensure continuity exists between bulb terminals. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace bulb.
- Heated Back Window Switch Check - Turn ignition off. Disconnect heated back window switch connector. Check resistance between Black/Yellow wire and Black/Red wire terminals of heated back window switch with switch depressed, then released. If resistance is less than 5 ohms with switch depressed, and greater than 10,000 ohms with switch released, go to next step. If resistances are not as specified, replace heated back window switch.
- Indicator Circuit Check - Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect instrument cluster C210 (Black) connector. Reconnect heated back window switch. Turn ignition on. Turn heated back window switch on. Check voltage between instrument cluster connector C210 terminal B1 (Black/Red wire) and ground. If voltage is greater than 10 volts, replace instrument cluster printed circuit board. If voltage is not as specified, repair Black/Red wire.
