Test Procedure

  1. Record and then erase Quick Test codes. Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Ensure transmission fluid level is correct. Shift transmission to overdrive (OD).
  2. Accelerate from stop to 50 MPH. Hold speed for at least 15 seconds. While maintaining speed with transaxle in 4th gear, lightly depress brake pedal and release. Maintain speed for additional five seconds. Bring vehicle to stop for at least 20 seconds. Repeat steps 1 and 2 at least five times. Perform Quick Test and record continuous codes.
