Using New Generation Star (NGS) Scan Tester

  1. Turn ignition off. Locate Data Link Connector (DLC) under dash, on left side of steering column. Following manufacturer's instructions, connect NGS Scan Tester (007-00500) to DLC.
  2. Turn ignition on. Follow instructions on scan tester menu. Record codes in order received. These codes indicate current faults in system and should be serviced in order of appearance. If system passes or codes cannot be retrieved, perform ABS QUICK CHECK and WARNING LIGHT SYMPTOM SEQUENCE CHECK. See Figure and Figure .
