All Power Windows Inoperative
- Remove circuit breaker No. 14 (20-amp) from fuse block located in the steering column lower opening. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, check voltage at circuit breaker input terminal on fuse block. Battery voltage should be present. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check power supply circuit to fuse block for open, repair or replace as necessary. Restore system to original configuration and retest.
- Turn ignition off. Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between circuit breaker terminals. If continuity exists, reinstall circuit breaker and go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace circuit breaker. Restore system to original configuration and retest.
- Remove left window switch assembly. See WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between ground and all Black wires (4 wires) of switch harness connector. Continuity should exist at all Black wires. If continuity does not exist, repair open in Black wire(s) between ground and window switch harness connector. See WIRING DIAGRAM . Restore system to original configuration and retest.
- If continuity exists in all Black wires, check for open in Red/Light Blue wire between fuse block and left window switch harness connector. See WIRING DIAGRAM . Repair or replace as necessary. Restore system to original configuration and retest.
