Disabling & Activating Air Bag System: Activating

Reconnect negative battery cable. Turn ignition on. Observe AIR BAG warning light. Warning light should come on for 6-8 seconds and then go out, indicating system is functioning properly. If warning light fails to glow or glows and stays on, a system malfunction exists.
