Preliminary Checks

Confirm concern. Ensure window in question is properly aligned. Check the following for possible cause of malfunction:

• Damaged track or regulator mechanism.
• Malfunctioning window motor. See WINDOW MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTING.
• Open or shorted circuit.
• Faulty window switch.
