Lower Control Arm: Installation

NOTE: Manufacturer recommends replacing all nuts and bolts with NEW parts.
  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure lower end of spring is positioned between 2 holes in lower arm spring pocket. See Figure .
  2. Raise lower control arm to normal position before tightening attaching nuts. Tighten ball joint stud nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. After installation, check front end alignment and adjust if necessary. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
