Front Suspension: Description
Front suspension is a modified MacPherson strut design. The design uses a damper, with coil spring located between lower control arm and a spring pocket in crossmember. Gas-pressurized hydraulic shock struts and a front stabilizer bar are used. See Fig 1 .
Shock struts are non-serviceable and must be replaced as an assembly. Ball joints and lower control arm pivot bushings are serviceable, and may be replaced individually.
