Brake Booster Assembly (4.6L): Notes
WARNING:
Hydro-boost booster should not be carried by accumulator, not should it ever be dropped on accumulator. If accumulator is to be disposed of, it must not be exposed to excessive heat, fire or incineration. Before discarding accumulator, minimize pressure in accumulator by pumping input rod using brake pedal or hand. Drill a 1/16" (1.6 mm)diameter hole in end of accumulator can to relieve gas pressure.
CAUTION:
Hydro-boost booster is powered by power steering fluid. Brake and power steering fluid are not compatible, and if mixed will damage system.
CAUTION:
DO NOT activate booster with brake master cylinder removed.
