Hatchback Or Trunk Release
- If trunk will not release when switch is operated, inspect for faulty fuse. Unplug harness connector at release solenoid. Test for battery voltage as release switch is operated.
- If battery voltage exists but release solenoid is inoperative, inspect for poor ground to solenoid. If ground is okay, replace solenoid. If voltage does not exist when switch is operated, test release switch and wire between switch and solenoid. Replace defective switch or repair open wire as necessary.
