Removal & Installation

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove steering column lower panel. Unsnap clips on top and right side of center trim panel. Remove ashtray, and remove 2 exposed screws. Pull trim panel rearward enough to disconnect wiring. Remove center trim panel. Remove control panel assembly mounting screws.
- Pull control panel assembly from instrument panel enough to disconnect electrical connectors. Disconnect vacuum harness from function selector valve. Disconnect temperature control cable. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure controls operate properly and temperature control cable is properly adjusted. See TEMPERATURE CONTROL CABLE under ADJUSTMENTS.
